2023-2024 MCF Trainees
The Graduation Ceremony for Campden Park Technical Institute (CPTI) for the academic year 2023-2024 took place on Friday 12th July 2024 and Mustique Charitable Foundation (MCF) is pleased to announce that forty-eight (48) trainees from academic year 2023-2024 who were awarded MCF Partial Scholarships, successfully graduated from their respective programs. To add to this, the 2024 Valedictorian was an MCF Partial Scholarship Awardee.
The programs offered for the 2023-2024 academic year included General Cosmetology, Motor Vehicle Repairs, General Office Administration, Plumbing, Cake Baking and Decorating, Food Preparation and Cookery, Electrical Installation and Welding.
At the ceremony, Mr. Iran Rouse (CPTI Principal) thanked MCF for their continued support and he encouraged grandaunts to learn to navigate their own life as they step into the world of work, and not to compare their journey to others. He stated that there will be opportunities but not without hardships and he hopes that each of them learn to use their skills & abilities for the upliftment of themselves.
During her brief address, Natalia Gill (MCF Project Director) reminded the graduates that “TVET plays a crucial role in equipping individuals with practical skills for the workforce and everyday life” and she encouraged the trainees to “focus on their skill and to remember that they stand today, as the evidence showing the Caribbean that it pays to invest in technical skills”.
MCF is heartened by the performance of all Awardees for the 2023-2024 academic year and hope that our Partial Scholarships will continue to benefit trainees in the years to come.
