The Georgetown Technical Institute (GTI) celebrated the achievements of its graduating class on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, under the inspiring theme, “Skilled Today, Leading Tomorrow: Hands-on Learning, Lifelong Success.” The ceremony recognized the hard work, perseverance, and growth of students who are now equipped with the practical skills and confidence to take the next step in their personal and professional journeys.

As a proud partner in technical and vocational education, the Mustique Charitable Foundation (MCF) was honoured to support 30 graduates through its Partial Scholarship Program. The Foundation remains committed to investing in opportunities that empower young people to build meaningful careers and contribute to the continued development of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Delivering remarks on behalf of MCF, Natalia Gill, Project Director, congratulated the graduates on reaching this important milestone and noted that

“skills-based education can change lives. It equips individuals not only with technical knowledge, but with the confidence, resilience, and practical experience needed to succeed in an ever-changing world.”

Reflecting on the ceremony’s theme, Kendal Sam, Principal of GTI, reminded graduates that the skills they have developed today are the foundation of tomorrow’s leadership. Through hands-on learning, they have gained more than qualifications—they have cultivated problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a lifelong commitment to learning that will serve them throughout their careers.
